Budgam, Mar 1, KNT: In a heart wrenching incident, a youth died suddenly while playing cricket with his friends in Central Kashmir’s Budgam area.
Official sources told Kashmir News Trust that a cricket match was going on between two local teams at Omarpora Budgam, when one of the players suddenly fell unconscious after developing some pain in the chest.
He was immediately rushed to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. A police official identified the victim as Basit Ahmed Bhat son of Samiullah Bhat, a resident of Housing Colony, Ompora Budgam.
Paul of gloom descended on the locality after the sudden death of the youth. Hundreds of people participated in his funeral prayers.
