Lucknow, Mar 5 : As a precautionary measure in view of the coronavirus, Lucknow District Magistrate (DM) Abhishek Prakash stopped the open sale of meat and fish in the state capital on Thursday.
Although the order was in effect since before, it was not being followed sincerely and non-vegetarian items like meat and fish were being sold in the open. Now, the DM has again stopped the same.
Alongside, hotels and restaurants have also been directed to pay special attention to cleanliness and hygiene and that the food should be cooked properly.
