New Delhi, March 9 (UNI) Congress chief Sonia Gandhi on monday met senior party leaders from Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Haryana to decide on the party candidates for the Rajya Sabha candidates for the March 23 elections for 55 seats.

Sources said that the Congress president met Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Maharashtra state Congress chief Balasaheb Thorat and Leader of Opposition in Haryana Assembly Bhuprinder Singh Hooda to decide on the list of Rajya Sabha candidates for the March 23 election.
Talking to reporters after meeting mrs Gandhi, kamal nath said any decision on the party’s nominees for Rajya Sabha polls would be taken unanimously.
