Srinagar April 03(PR) Lauding the hard work and dedication exhibited by the government agencies in preventing the spread of COVID19, Congress leader Kadfeen Choudhary on Friday urged people to cooperate with the administration in its efforts to normalize the otherwise worrisome situation.
In a statement to KPS, issued here, Kadfeen said that the role played by the district administration of Srinagar is commendable in more ways than one and that the measures being taken to provide a sigh of relief to the people during the prevalent trying circumstances are worth to be hailed.
He maintained that the door to door distribution of ration by the government has benefited a large chunk of the Srinagar populace and authorization given to various grocery stores to initiate home delivery of essentials has played a major role in minimizing the peoples’ anxieties due to the present lockdown. Those at the forefront including PDS workers deserve appreciation for risking their own lives while discharging their duties.
Kadfeen said that while people from all corners are appreciating the measures taken by Srinagar district administration in mitigating the hardships, there is a need for full cooperation to the authorities to keep the spread of the deadly virus at bay. He added that the unified efforts by the masses and the civil authorities will bring a very positive change on the ground and the post lockdown period will become safe and secure for one and all. “There is only one remedy to the present pandemic. Stay at home, cooperate with the administration and do not venture out and defy the orders,” Kadfeen appealed people.
