JAMMU, MAY 02: Hon’ble Member Rajya Sabha Shri Shamsher Singh Manhas today visited the Jammu and Kashmir Police Headquarters Jammu to express his gratitude to Jammu and Kashmir Police for excellent work during the Corona Virus epidemic (COVID-19). The Hon’ble Member Parliament during his visit to PHQ interacted with Director General of Police, J&K, Shri Dilbag Singh and complimented the Police department for remaining on the forefront in fight against the Coronavirus by ensuring lockdown, providing help to the needy by way of rations, medicines etc. He also hailed the police for tracking the people hiding travel history as also tracing the contacts of infected people so as to break the chain and contain the spread of virus. The Hon’ble MP presented a certificate of appreciation to J&K Police through Director General of Police, J&K. The DGP Shri Dilbag Singh thanked the Hon’ble Member for his visit and appreciating the J&K Police.
