Srinagar, Sep 10: A motor-cyclist died on spot after his bike collided with a Maruti vehicle in Littar area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Police sources told KNT that collision between a motor-cycle and a Maruti car resulted in the on spot death of a youth who was identified as Younis Ahmed Tantray of Naina Batapora area of Pulwama.
Two others were injured in the accident who were shifted to hospital.
In another road accident in Damjan village of Qazigund in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, a tractor crushed a minor girl to death, sparking protest in the area.
The victim has been identified as Zareena Jan, daughter of Shabir Ahmad Bhat of Damjan Qazigund.
A police official said that tractor without registration number has been seized and a case has been registered against the ‘erring’ driver. (KNT)
