CASO underway in twin villages of Budgam
Budgam, Oct 08: Government Forces on Thursday launched Cordon and Search operation in two villages in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Sources told news agency Kashmir Dot Com- (KDC) that combined forces including soldiers from 53 Rashtriya Rifles, Special Operation Group of police have cordoned Alamdaar Colony Chrar-i-Sharief and Pethpora Narbal by 2 RR and SOG Magam after receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants.
Sources added that door to door search operation was initiated and all the entry and exit points of the village have been sealed.
Local sources said that huge contingents of forces have been deployed in these areas, however, no contact with militants have been established so for.
The search operation in both the villages were underway till the filing of this report. (KDC)
