Srinagar, Oct 15 :A former militant was injured by unidentified gunmen in south Kashmir district of Pulwama on Thursday evening, official sources said.
They said unidentified gunmen fired at a former militant, identified as Tanveer Ahmad Sofi, at Kakpora in Pulwama on Thursday evening. “Sofi was injured in the attack,” they said, adding the wounded was rushed to a hospital where his health condition is stated to be stable.
They said the gunmen managed to escape from the spot, adding security forces have been rushed to the area and a search operation has been launched to nab the attackers. (UNI)
