Awantipora, Nov 5: A sloth of bears was found dead on Srinagar- Jammu highway near Awantipora on Thursday morning.
A bear and a cub were found dead on the road in Noorpora. Officials believe that they have been hit by unknown speeding vehicle during the intervening night of 4 and 5 November.
An official from the Wild Life Department told KNT that a team removed the dead bodies of the bear and cub from the road. He said police have been asked to register a case in this regard.(KNT)
