DDC Election: Over 39 per cent votes polled in two panchayat blocks in Bandipora

Bandipora, Dec 01 : Over 39 per cent polling has been recorded till 11 am in two panchayat blocks of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district that went to polls during the 2nd phase of DDC elections on Tuesday.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that 39. 89 per cent votes have been polled till 11 am in two panchayat blocks of the district which include Ganastan and Nowgam.

Pertinently, Ganastan and Nowgam blocks went to polls during the 2nd phase of DDC elections and panchayat by-polls today.

Polling started at 7 am and will end at 2 pm. The official said that Nowga block recorded 39.89 per cent polling while Ganastan block recorded 39.9 per cent polling till 11 am—(KNO)
