Handwara, Dec 19: Police in North Kashmir’s Handwara organized an anti-drug rally in collaboration with some local schools on Saturday.
School children as well as policemen carried placards seeking an end to the drug menace. The participants in the rally passed through roads, alleys and lanes to make people aware about the prevailing drug menace.
The police officers who participated in the rally included ASP Handwara Mashkoor Ahmad, DySP Raqeeb Malik, SHO Parvaiz Wani and DO Chogal Khursheed Ahmad.
Police said that this rally was organized to spread awareness among common people about the hazards of drug menace. They said with the active support of the general public, they can get over this nuisance.
