Srinagar ( PR): Indian Dental Association held Annual General Body Meeting Cum Ellections 2021 at Srinagar.
Dr Prof Dr.H.U.Malik was unanimously Elected as President Ida J&K State Branch.
In an Address to the General Body Meeting Dr Malik was hopeful that the Hon.Governor J&K Shall look into the Genuine Grievances of Unemployed Dental Graduates as no such Posts have been advertised since 2010 rendering thousands of Dental Graduates in Agony and Pain from a Decade.
Dr Malik looked forward from the Govt and requested to Hon’ble Governor of J&K to Dissolve the Defunct State Dental Council and Pave Way for Early Fresh State Dental Council in the Union Territory of J&K as the Council has failed in all fronts in Curbing Dental Quackery and Quacks which are threat to General Masses.The President ida J&K said that the Dental Council has not come upto the Expectations of Dental Fraternity for which they were entitled.
Dr Qanungo Hon.State Secretary J&K in an Address said that the Association shall reach out to Govt for advertisement of Posts of Dental Graduates / Dental Consultants.
Further Dr Qanungo was looking forward for Transfer Policy from Government of J&K (UT) to be implemented in letter and Spirit as many Blue Eyed Doctors are Stationed at one place of Postings from Decades .
