Driver among two injured in Bandipora mishap

Bandipora, Jan 03: Two persons including a driver were on Sunday injured after a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident in Kehoosa village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer(KNO) that a car bearing registration number JK1C-9191 driven by Muhammad Ikhlaq Mir, son of Taj Mohuidin of Nowpora skidded off the road near Khenusa village, injuring two persons including the driver.

He said in the accident Ikhlaq was critically injured and has been shifted to Srinagar hospital for advanced treatment.

The official further said that police have taken the cognizance of the accident—(KNO)
