Snow slide from rooftop of house buries elderly woman to death in Kupwara village

Trehgam, Jan 06 : An elderly woman Wednesday morning died after she came under a snow slide in Trehgam village of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the woman died on the spot in Shah Mohallah locality of Trehgam after she came under a snow slide from the rooftop her house.

The official identified the deceased as Rahami Begum (81) wife of Late Mohammad Subhan Malik.

The official further said that after medico-legal formalities the woman was handed over to the legal heirs for last rites—(KNO)
