Burglars loot shop, stole bike in Budgam

Srinagar, Mar 2: Burglars on the intervening night of Friday-Saturday looted a shop and stole a bike in two different burglary incidents in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

Police sources told News Agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that in the nocturnal burglary incident thieves looted a kiryana shop located in Rasoo village of the district.

As per the complaint received from the victim shopkeeper identified as Mohammad Yousuf Parry son of Abdul Aziz, burglars besides looting shop decamped with Rs 40000 along with a TV and CCTV camera.

In another similar incident thieves have stolen a bike bearing registration number JK04B 9471 belonging to Bashir Ahmad Wani son of Abdul Aziz Wani outside his home in Magam area of the district.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of both the burglary incidents and have set investigations into motion. (KDC)
