Kupwara : Handwara police organised, a farewell function at District Police Lines Handwara in the honour of Dr. G.V Sundeep Chakravarthy-IPS outgoing SP Handwara upon his transfer from Police District Handwara.
In his farewell address, the departing officer shared his experience which he got during his posting as SP Handwara and extended his gratitude to all ranks of District Police Handwara for their cooperation and dint towards duty. He also urged the officers to work with missionary zeal, humane attitude and sincerity for welfare of the masses.
ASP Handwara, SDPO Handwara, DY SP PC Handwaea, DYSP DAR, officers from CAPF besides other officers/officials were present on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion, officers of Police District Handwara threw light on the tenure of departing officer, commended the leadership skills of the outgoing officer besides being humane, practical and decisive in the toughest situations.
The departing officer was given mementos as a goodwill gesture and best wishes for him for his future assignment.
