Seven militant including Chief & deputy of AGuH killed in two anti militancy operations in South Kashmir

South Kashmir, Apr 09, KDC: Seven militants have been killed in two anti militancy operations that raged between security forces and militants in South Kashmir’s Shopian and Pulwama.

A senior police official told News Agency Kashmir Dot Com- (KDC) that in Nowbugh area of Tral in South Kashmir’s PD Awantipora, on Friday morning two militants including AGuH Chief Imtiyaz Shah alis Ghazi Khalid Ibrahim were killed in early morning encounter adding that the operation was launched on the specific inputs and ended without any collateral damage.

Sources told KDC that five militants have been killed while AQ-linked Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind’s deputy commander along with other militant were trapped in a local mosque since yesterday. However, both the trapped militants have been killed now and taking the toll five in total. Sources said Dy. Commander is said to be the cousin of ex Hizb-ul-mujahideen chief Burhan Wani and brother of his (Burhan Wani’s) mentor, Adil Mir. Four soldiers including an officer were injured in this encounter.
