BHADERWAH: A special plantation drive to plant fifty deodar saplings in various tourist destinations of Bhaderwah was launched by Bhaderwah Development Authority, Tour and travel operators association, Guest house association in collaboration with Chenab circle of forest department , today.The drive is launched to spread awareness amongst the people about the Green and Clean Environment and the harmful effects of deforestation. Many stake holders of tourism in Bhaderwah , has taken the initiative to collect saplings from Conservator of Chenab circle for plantation in various locations of Bhaderwah . The first day drive was witnessed by various eminent personalities at TRC Bhaderwah where stake holders of tourism along with Bhaderwah Development Authority and Journalists planted deodar saplings . The enthusiasm shown by the people to be a partner with the BDA in this initiative to save the environment was really appreciable.Speaking on the occasion, CEO BhaderwahDevelopment Authority Bal Krishan , applauded the efforts being undertaken by the CF Chenab circle T B Singh and expressed gratitude to Tour and travel operators association president Tariq Ch , Guest house association president Raiz Najar, Mohd Majid Malik senior Journalist for coming forward with the noble idea of “Green Environment – Clean Environment”.
