Srinagar: Dr. Farooq Abdullah while expressing profound grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives today, extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.
In a statement issued to media, Dr. Farooq Abdullah said that it was evident that the ruling dispensation was responsible for shedding innocent blood during the by-elections in a shameful bid to suppress the decision of the people to democratically punish the PDP-BJP alliance.
Dr Farooq Abdullah said it was time for the PDP-BJP alliance and especially the chief minister to introspect and acknowledge the disastrous casts of its anti-people and power hungry politics.
National Conference working president Omar Abdullah has also expressed profound grief over the civilian killings and strongly condemned the brutality unleashed by the PDP-BJP Government on the people of the Valley.
Expressing solidarity with the bereaved families, Omar said it was for the Chief Minister and her conscious to answer for her government’s continued supervision of bloodshed and oppression in Kashmir.
