DODA: Deputy Commissioner, Doda Shri. Bhupinder Kumar, IAS and SSP Doda Shri Mohammad Shabir, and other officers of Police and Civil administration handed over 02 Nos inflatable boats to Chenab rescue team of Pull Doda. These boats were donated by Zakat foundation Delhi (NGO) few months back due to efforts of Deputy Commissioner Doda Shri Bhupinder Kumar, IAS. Since highway runs parallel to river Chenab from Baggar (Ramgarh) to Kishtwar. In the past many fatal accident have taken place on this highway. Chenab rescue team headed by its president Shri Mushtaq Ahmed Sheikh has been involved in many rescue operation for last 20 years and saved many lives and retrieved many dead bodies from the river Chenab. They often requested for providing boats and other equipments required for rescue operations from civil administration and District Police. District Police Doda had to face severe criticism from Public after every accident where loss of life was involved. Chenab rescue team thanked Deputy Commissioner Doda Shri Bhupinder Kumar, IAS and SSP Doda Shri. Mohammad Shabir for providing rescue equipments and assured that they will work with full zeal and zest for rescue in future.
