Srinagar: An officer of Special Operation Group (SOG) of police died of a heart attack on Monday in Kupwara district of north Kashmir.
Official sources told news agency GNS that Sub Inspector Mushtaq Ahmad Mir suddenly suffered cardiac arrest during duty at Joint Interrogation Centre (JIC) in Kupwara.
Mir, a resident of Rajpora area of Rajwara, was rushed by his colleagues to district hospital Kupwara where doctors declared him brought dead,” they said.
