DODA , APR 22–Daughter and mother was killed and two other family members were injured seriously when the vehicle in which they were traveling was hit by the falling boulders at Kuligadh area of Drabshalla on Batote Kishtwar on Saturday morning, police sources told . “Four family members of Kishtwar were travelling in a Wagner bearing No JK17 1896 when boulders hit the moving vehicle near Kuligardh Drabshallah landslide prone area .While Anju Mahajan 35 years W/o Bupinder Singh Mahajan and daughter Purvi Mahajan 15 years , died on the spot other two family members were injured seriously. They were brought to the District Hosptal Kishtwar for treatment but later referred to GMC Jammu. The size of the boulders can be estimated from the condition of the vehicle which was badly twisted by the huge boulders.This is second incident within a three week when boulders hit moving vehicles.The stretch of Batote Kishtwar Highwaynear Drabshallah has become prone to landslides .
