Clashes erupt in Sopore after Friday prayers

Sopore : Clashes erupted between the government forces and protesters in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district after Friday prayers. Witnesses said that clashes erupted after police used tear gas to stop protesters who were attempting to march from Jamia Masjid area to main Chowk of the town but were stopped by the government forces already deployed in the main Chowk,amid pro-freedom and pro-azadi slogans,this resulted in clashes in the area as the angry protesters pelted stone on forces that retaliated with tear smoke shells.

However there was no affect in the daily routine work in the town.
