Four policemen injured in grenade blast in Sopore

SRINAGAR: Four policemen were injured in a grenade blast in Sopore town of Baramulla district on Wednesday.

Reports said that suspected militants lobbed a grenade at a police party outside the Sopore police station, resulting in injuries to four cops. . However, no militant outfit has so far claimed the responsibility of the attack.

The injured cops, identified as Noor Muhamad, Bilal Ahmad, Abdul Rehman and Ghulam Hassan, were shifted to a hospital where their condition is stated to be stable.
