Besides US, PM Modi to visit Portugal, Netherlands next week

New Delhi:  Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Portugal and the Netherlands next week and try to give boost to the bilateral relations between India and these two countries, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced here today.
The spokesman in the MEA, Gopal Baglay told reporters here that Mr Modi will reach Portugal capital Lisbon on June 24 and hold dialogues with his Portugese counterpart Antonio Costa, who had visited India earlier this year.
“We look forward to take the friendly ties forward,” he said adding the visit of Indian Prime Minister will be “action-filled and fruitful”.
After his engagement in Portugal, the Prime Minister will fly to the United States on June 25 and is scheduled to hold talks with President Donald Trump on a wide range of issues the next day on June 26.
“This will be the first meeting between the two leaders (PM Modi and President Trump). (UNI)
