Youth succumbs to pellet injuries in south Kashmir

SRINAGAR: A youth died, when security forces fired pellets and burst teargas shells to disperse the demonstrators at Kakpora in Pulwama, where three Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militants were killed in an encounter early this morning.
Defying the restrictions imposed under Section 144 of CrPC, people took to the streets at Kakpora, protesting against the militant killings, two of whom were residents of the area.
The demonstrators raising slogans clashed with security forces and state police personnel, already deployed to strictly implement the restrictions. (UNI)
