SC grants 3 months for translation of historical documents in Ayodhya case
New Delhi: Supreme Court today granted three months time for translation of the historical documents pertaining to the Ayodhya land dispute case.
A three-judge bench comprising Justices Dipak Misra, Ashok Bhushan and S.
Abdul Nazeer, was hearing the arguments from various petitioners and respondents in the matter.
The Apex court wanted to know from all the parties as to who was representing which respondent and petitioner? Sunni wakf board told the Apex court that the translation work had not been completed yet of the historic documents.
These original historic documents are in Sanskrit, Parsi, Urdu, Arabic and various other languages. (UNI)
