Rohingyas are “illegal migrants”, hence ought to be deported: Govt of India
New Delhi, Sep 5 : The Government of India today said that the Rohingyas are “illegal migrants” and the process of law envisages that they need to be deported.
“No body should teach India about human rights and the protection of refugees and illegal migrants,” the Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju told reporters here.
He said the criticism of various human rights bodies and international organisations that the Government of India was being “harsh” to the Rohingya refugees is totally “unfounded”. (UNI)
