Srinagar: Today JDU all executive meets with Hon’ble Home Minister Rajnath Singh under the chairmanship of party state president G.M.Shah (Shaheen) and discussed the conciquences of the Article 35A and briefed the privileged situation of the Jammu & Kashmir.

Jammu & Kashmir is always on boil because of negligence by the State and the Central Government time by time, so the result is today’s scenario. Government should take strict action against those who are defaming the Kashmir for their own benefits. But don’t involve the common people whom they are suffering badly.
People of J&K will lose their faiths on us if Article 35A is removed because they lost their identity, jobs, scholarships and permanent residential ship.
People are never tired, when it will come to decision like these, you will see this mass rising and it will be bigger revolt than Amarnath Land Row. Probably Central and State government cannot handle it and will be squarely responsible for that he said.
Shaheen said Jammu & Kashmir witnessing continued unrest, which has badly hit its economy, unemployment, tourism and other sectors. J&K have immense tourism potential which has remained untapped due to many reasons including the way in which a section of national electronic media is portraying Kashmir. The electronic media as well as print media defaming the valley. Government should counter that through social media. Now-a-days, people are using social media heavily and we should capitalize this media for our benefit and all of us must join this campaign against defaming Kashmir. For centuries Kashmiris have been providing “exemplary hospitality” and safety to tourists and pilgrims.
