RAMBAN, Jan 18: A killed and nine others injured when a Tat a Sumo in which they were travelling skidded off from road and fall down into deep gorge at Halwagan area of district Ramban this afternoon.
The said vehicle bearing registration no JK14C 0106 was on the way from Magarkote to Neel was met with the accident when driver lost control over the vehicle.
The deceased has been identified as Ghulam Rasool Sohil son of Abdul Samdo resident of Halogan, a retired PHE employee.
All injured were shifted to Primary Health Centre Ukhral from where they were shifted to District Hospital Ramban after giving first aid for furather treatment.
Later four seriously injured persons has been shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital
The injured persons has been identified as Sheela Devi wife of Pawan Singh resident of Ludu age 45 yrs, Fareed Ahmed son of Mohd.Hanief resident of Neel age 35yrs, Mohd. Ramzan son of Gulam Moh-ud-Din resident of Neel age 30yrs, Mohd.Shafi son of Abdullah resident of Gogoni Neel age 55yrs, Nagina Begum wife of Mashqoor Ahmed resident of Gogoni Neel age 35yrs, Karnail Singh son of Pawan Singh R/ Ludu age 17yrs, Gulam Moh-ud-Din son of Gulam Sheikh resident of Neel age 45yrs and Abdul Gani son of Abdullah resident of Neel age 50 yrs.
Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
