Srinagar, February 20: Government on Tuesday evening forces cordoned off Malangpora area in Awantipora of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Reports reaching GNS said that some gunmen believed to be militants opened fire on air force station in Malangpora area.
The force personal guarding the station retaliated the fire however there was no report of injury or casualty on either side so far.
A police officer when contacted said that the joint team of army and police cordoned off area following some gunshots.(GNS)
