Mumbai, Jun 8 :The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday fell by 124.46 to 35,338.62 on heavy selling in power, realty, oil & gas and banking stocks amid sustained capital outflows by foreign funds.
The Nifty of National Stocks Exchange (NSE) too fell by 38.80 points to 10,729.55.
The sensex registered intra day high and low at 35,415.19 and 35,338.62 points respectively.
The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 10,750.45 and 10,717.70 respectively.
The losers were Powergrid by 2.54 pc to Rs 197.65, M&M by 1.37 pc, LT by 1.36 pc to Rs 1,335.80, HDFC by 1.33 pc to Rs 1,842.05 and ICICI Bnak by 1.15 pc to Rs 287.60.
The gainers were Sun Pharma By 5.27 pc to Rs 514.25, Tatamotordvr by 2.86 pc to Rs 184.95, Tata motors 2.85 pc to Rs 314.00, Dr Reddy labs by 2.81 pc to Rs 2021.80 and TCS by 0.63 pc to Rs 1,745.50
