PSC lecturers Association paid rich tributes to Shujaat Bukhari
Srinagar: All JK PSC Lecturers Association led by President Faisal Nayeem Parray and Vice President Mansoor Ahmad Khan visited brevieved family of Syed Shujaat Bukhari at Kreeri Baramulla today and paid rich tributes to the towering personality of J&K. The delegates extended deepest sympathies to Female Vice President JKPSCLA Syed Nusrat Bukhari over her brother’s untimely departure. Syed Shujaat Bukhari had always supported JKPSC Lecturers association and gave valuable suggestions to it whenever asked. He would always admonish the Association to bring positive changes in the educational delivery in Govt run schools and support the cause of reformation of this vital sector. Faisal Nayeem Parray strongly condemned the gruesome murder and termed the loss as an irreparable one. He said that ” Syed Shujaat Bukhari was an illustrious ambassador of human rights, a doyen of journalism, an ardent supporter of peace, a distinguished scholar, a literary figure of repute and above all a great human being”. Vice President Mansoor Ahmad Khan in his condolence address said that Syed Shujaat Bukhari was a multidimensional personality ” His writeups are still there to see his intellectual stature” “He was a journalist , an educationist, a scholar , a debater , a laureate, an orator and what not” he further said. The delegation visited the grave of the deceased and prayed for the eternal peace of departed soul and implored for the forbearance and comfort to the grieved family in this time of grief. Others who were part of the delegation include Qazi Syed Sajad, Mudasir Kaleem, Katooch Manzoor, Dr Nazim, Iftikhar Bashir , Irshad Ahmad Bhat , Khurshid Alam, John Bhat , Mohammad Ishaq, Basharat Saleem, kousar Abdullah Bhat , Dr Arshid , Zaffar Mushtaq, Irfan Mugul, Kaisar Shafi and others .
