Police arrested two self-styled editors for defaming senior Journalist Raja Mohi-ud-din

Malik Sajid of KNB and Bilal Bhat of Only Kashmir aired a fake news and doctored audio clip on social networking sites defaming the KPS journalist
Srinagar 20 June 2018 (KPS): Police arrested two self-styled Editors Malik Sajid of KNB and Bilal Bhat of Only Kashmir on Wednesday who aired a fake news and doctored audio clip on social networking sites defaming the senior journalist of Kashmir Press Service (KPS) Raja Mohi-ud-din accusing him of blackmailing the people.
“We have arrested two persons involved in this case namely Sajad Ahmad Malik resident of Aloosa, Bandipora chief editor Kashmir News Bureau (KNB) and Bilal Bashir Bhat chief editor of Only Kashmir resident of Srinagar and have been lodged at police station Saddar Srinagar under FIR no 84/18” a senior police official who is probing the case told KPS .
Police earlier registered a case against these self styled editors of said news portals who previously published a fake news and circulated a doctored audio clip against Raja Mohi-ud-din and editor Tameel-i-Irshad in an attempt to gain TRP.
In this regard a complaint was filed with Police and taking cognizance of report police swung into action and registered an FIR against Sajad Ahmad Malik resident of Aloosa, Bandipora Bilal Bashir Bhat resident of Srinagar and Wahid Bhat of Kangan under FIR No. 84/18 and started investigation under IT Act 66 and 505 (RPC) in order to prevent such portals for circulating fake and fabricated news against reputed and respectable citizens.
