Sensex down by 115 pts
Mumbai, June 26 : The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday further tumbled down by 115 points to open at 35,355.72 as selling pressure was seen in Materials, FMCG, Energy Finance, IT and Utilities stocks amid weak global cues on worries about an intensifying trade conflict between the US and its trade partners.
The Nifty of National Stocks Exchange (NSE) eased by 20 points to 10,742.70.
The sensex registered intra day high and low at 35,555.95 and 35,338.09 points respectively.
The sectoral indices like Consumer Durable, Finance, Telecom and Utilities kept the market low in early trade.
The losers were Tata Motors by 2.29 pc to Rs 283.20, Reliance Industries by 1.39 pc to Rs 989.65, ICICI Bank by 1.31 pc to Rs 285.65 and Tata Motors DVR by 0.98 pc to Rs 167.10.
The gainers were Coal India by 3.45 pc to Rs 268, Asian Paints by 1.41 pc to Rs 1271.70 Bharti Airtel by 1.24 pc to Rs 378.25.
