Pulwama: Thousands of people Saturday participated in the funeral of Hizbul Mujahideen militant who was killed in a gunfight in a village here early this morning.
Witnesses told Kashmir Reader that despite restrictions, thousands of people from Samboora and adjoining villages participated in the funeral of Hizb militant Shabir Ahmad, who was killed in a gunfight with government forces in Babgund area here this morning.
Amidst vociferous sloganeering, Ahmad was laid to rest.
