Desist from meddling with procedure for obtaining PRCs: G H Mir, Tarigami, Hakeem to Guv

Srinagar, Dec 03: Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) president Ghulam Hassan Mir, CPI (M) senior leader, M Y Tarigami, and Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen on Monday asked Governor Satya pal Malik to desist from meddling with the procedure for obtaining Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC).
The trio in a statement issued to KNS urged Guv led administration to leave the long standing issues on popular government and only focus on day to day issues and functions.
“It is good that the Governor has made it clear that is administration won’t amend PRC but we want to appeal the government not to meddle with the procedure for obtaining PRC,” they said, that the Governor should desist from such issues, which create apprehensions about worsening situation in the Valley.
