Srinagar, Sep 16: Police Station Kothibagh received an information from reliable sources to the effect that owner of a shop under the name and style of BHAT PAAN HOUSE situated at Lal Chowk MA Road Manzoor Ahmad Bhat Son of Mohd Sadiq from Shuthra Shaahi Srinagar isviolating the SMC trade rules and regulations and is playing lottery at his shop and is investing money through illegal ways which causes inconvenience to the Public.The said individual is investing money of common people by alluring them to lottery, forgery and trickery. As per the information the said individual is distributing some digits between people and declared some digits as successful through Gambling and invest money through illegal ways. In this information case FIR No 74/2020 U/S 420, 294-A, IPC 5/7 The Lotteries (Regulations) Act registered in PS Kothibagh and investigation taken up. During the course of investigation the owner of the shop was arrested and lottery tickets were seized from his shop. The investigation of the case is going on. (KNT)
