MLA Gulmarg, Farooq Ahmad Shah, visited Ladoora Rafiabad to offer his condolences to Javed Ahmad Dar, Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Cooperative & Election, J&K Government, on the demise of his aunt.
During the visit, Shah expressed heartfelt sympathies, stating, "We are equally grieved as Javed Sahab in this tough time."
Later, Farooq Ahmad Shah participated in the District-Level Launch of the 100 Days Intensified Campaign on TB Elimination as part of the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. The event, aimed at eradicating tuberculosis, was also attended by Dr. Sajad Shafi, MLA Uri, and Javed Hussain Beigh, MLA Baramulla. Speaking on the occasion, Shah emphasized the importance of collective efforts in combating tuberculosis and ensuring a healthier future for the community.
In the later afternoon, Shah attended an award ceremony at Tagore Hall organized by Kashmir Crown. The event celebrated the achievements of individuals and organizations excelling in various fields. Shah commended the awardees for their contributions and encouraged them to continue their inspiring work for the betterment of society.
