EJAC Vice President Farooq Khan grieved over the demise of Dr. Shamim Ahmad Wani

SRINAGAR, May 8 : Employees Joint Action Committee Vice President And Mechincal Irrigation Employees Federation Chairman Farooq Ahmad Khan on Saturday expressed deep shock and grief over the demise of Dr. Shamim Ahmad Wani, Special Secretary to Government, Finance Department, former Deputy Commissioner Kulgam And Commisioner State Taxes Department who passed away at GMC Jammu.

In a statement issued to Press, Farooq Khan described Dr Wani as a dedicated officer who was extremely sincere towards his duties and other official obligations. “The deceased was thoroughly gentle, honest and known for his down-to-earth nature. His demise has left a huge void not only in the administrative circles but amongst his vast social groups across Jammu and Kashmir,” he added.

In a condolence message Farooq Ahmad Khan extended solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul. “I pray to almighty Allah to grant Jannat-ul-Firdous to Dr. Shamim Sahab, and give courage to his family to bear this huge loss.

Mechanical Irrigation Employees Federation stands in solidarity with Dr. Shamim’s family at this difficult period of time,” he added.
