NIT Srinagar Mentors Kashmiri Entrepreneur to Launch First EV Two-Wheeler and Energy Brand

In a major stride towards sustainable mobility and energy solutions, Kashmiri entrepreneur Aarif Shafi Khanyari is set to launch ELVANIA ENERGIES 369, an innovative electric vehicle (EV) two-wheeler and energy brand, in June 2025.

The pioneering brand will feature high-tech AI-operated batteries and self-sustaining energy generation using patented technology, marking a game-changing development in India’s electric vehicle industry.

Khanyari, Founder of Elvania Energies 369 Pvt Ltd, recently completed a week-long workshop at the Mechanical Engineering Department (MED) of NIT Srinagar, where he received hands-on mentorship and training in EV technology, manufacturing, and business development. The workshop, led by Dr. Dinesh Kumar and the faculty of MED, aimed to empower young entrepreneurs with the technical knowledge and practical insights necessary for success in the rapidly growing green energy sector.

Reflecting on the impact of the workshop, Khanyari shared:

"For the last 16 months, I have been researching the EV sector in India, its potential, and its future. This led me to launch Elvania Energies. I am truly grateful to NIT Srinagar and the MED faculty for their support. I traveled 1,400 km from Rajasthan to attend this program, which provided invaluable insights into advanced EV technologies, manufacturing processes, and industry best practices.
