13 Civilians Killed, 59 Injured in Pak Ceasefire Violations: MEA
In a major escalation along the Line of Control (LoC), 13 civilians have lost their lives and 59 others have been injured, according to the XP Division of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). Of the injured, 44 were reported from Poonch district alone.
The fatalities and injuries occurred due to ceasefire violations by Pakistan, marking one of the deadliest episodes of cross-border shelling in recent years.
The Indian government has strongly condemned the aggression and is assessing further diplomatic and security responses.
