The National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA), the digital legislative platform of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, has crossed the milestone of three lakh visitors, marking a significant step towards a paperless and transparent legislature.
The initiative reflects the vision of Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather to realise a state-of-the-art Legislative Assembly, in line with the roadmap outlined by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in his Budget speech 2026.
Implemented and managed by the IT Branch of the J&K Legislative Assembly, the NeVA platform provides real-time access to legislative business, including replies, videos, photographs and official records, enabling greater public engagement and transparency.
The platform has been developed as per the directions of the Speaker to make legislative proceedings easily accessible to the general public.
