The Ministry of Home Affairs on Thursday ordered a major reshuffle of AGMUT cadre IAS and IPS officers, effecting several transfers involving Jammu and Kashmir. Senior IAS officer Shahid Iqbal Choudhary has been transferred to Arunachal Pradesh, while Saugat Biswas, Mamta Yadav and Ishita Rathi have been posted to Jammu and Kashmir.
The reshuffle also includes several IPS transfers, with Tanushree moved from Jammu and Kashmir to Delhi, while multiple IPS officers, including Gaurav Sikarwar, Vishnu Kumar, K.M. Priyanka, Rajeev Kumar Ambasta and Deepak Yadav, have been posted to the Union Territory. The transfers take immediate effect.
