DODA ,OCT 05 : As a part of drive against drug peddlers, Doda police laid a naka for routine checking at Chapra near Ghadsoo Pul Doda here today and intercepted one vehicle Van bearing Registration Number JK03E-6851 on way from Thathri side towards Pul Doda . During the checking of vehicle one electronic weighing machine was found for which the driver namely Ajaz Ahmed Ganai S/o Abdul Shaban Ganai R/o Bonigam Qazigund was questioned who could not give any satisfactory answer, which created suspicion. On his personal search, 13.2 grams of heroin recovered from his possession. On this case FIR No. 116/17 u/s 8/21 NDPS Act registered in police station Bhaderwah and investigation started The recovery was made by Police Post Bhalla under the close supervision SHO Bhaderwah Jatinder Singh Sambyal, SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma ,ASP Bhaderwah Rajinder Singh on the directions of SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
