Srinagar: ETV Bharat on Monday clarified that the news item published in daily Kashmir Age and Daily Tameel Irshad in which Pir Azhar of Kupwara was mentioned employee of the channel is incorrect, reads a statement issued to KPS.
ETV Bharat Regional head told Kashmir Press Service over phone that no person with such name is working as reporter from Kupwara with us.
KPS hereby clarified that the name of the organisation was unintentionally quoted as the said fellow had mentioned his job at ETV Bharat on social media.
Hence the organisation’s name in the news reports published is clarified and corrigendum is issued.
