Met issues heavy rainfall warning in Kerala
Thiruvananthapuram, Jun 8 : Heavy rainfall between (7-11 CM) is most likely to occur at one or two places in Kerala till June 10, Meteorological Department warned.
Sources in Met said heavy (7-11 cm) to very heavy rainfall (12-20 cm) will occur at one or two places on June 11.
Fishermen are advised not to venture into sea during the period as strong winds mainly from westerly direction, speed occasionally reaching 35-45 gusting to 50 kmph is likely over Kerala coast and over Lakshadweep area (valid for 24 hours from 1400 IST of June 7), the sources said.
