Srinagar: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) youth president Waheed Parra escaped a life bid in Chadoora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district last night.
Parra said his bullet-proof vehicle was attacked by bike-borne gunmen at around 7:30 pm near Chadoora. “I escaped unhurt and the bullets hit the vehicle,” he said.
Parra was returning from a condolence meeting when the attack took place.
A police official said they have taken cognisance of the incident. “We are investigating it,” he said.
