SRINAGAR: A mother died while her son was injured in a road accident in Srinagar.
An Oil Tanker bearing registration number JK02AB-5086 hit a Motorcycle driven by Abid Aamir Khan resident of Nowgam at Sanatnagar, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Saddar, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist and his mother namely Rafiqa Begum. Both the injured were shifted to SMHS Hospital for treatment where the lady succumbed to her injuries. Srinagar police has registered a case in this regard.
