‘Gen Dhillon appeals to all Kashmiri mothers, bring back sons who have joined militancy’

Srinagar:  “Today I make a fervent appeal to all Kashmiri mothers to bring back sons who have joined militancy and to stop their sons from picking up arms,” GOC 15 Corps Lt Gen KJS Dhillon was quoted by news agencies.

The top army commander in Kashmir on Saturday has once again appealed to Kashmiri mothers to bring back their sons who have joined militancy. “I guarantee safe entry of local militants into the mainstream,” he said.

Earlier in February the Corps Commander had made a similar appeal, “I urge family members to tell their loved ones to give up the gun and follow the surrender policy,” he had said.

The Corps Commander was speaking at the passing-out-cum attestation parade at JAKLI Regimental Centre today.
